Sounds good man!

I bought my first BMW, a 1990 325i, from a Bend developer about 8 months back. He was telling me that most of the people moving to Bend already have quite a bit of money and either work from home or fly in and out.

I work in the mortgage/real estate business. Even my clients (mortgage company owners, developers etc) can't figure out why Bend's real estate market hasn't popped.

Bring on the Portland chapter of the M5 board!

So how many Portland people do you guys figure we have on this board? We should plan a dinner meet next weekend. Maybe Izzy's or something? (or wherever else with a big lot and a big banquet room)

Yeah, when the bend market finally does pop... all those interest only loan buyers are going to really feel the pain of these inflated prices. I keep thinking its going to happen at any moment... and it doesn't.

Hey guys, there's a meet tonight in NW Portland. It should be fun so try to make it if you can. $7.50 micro pitchers! :P

This is taken from the other board

No burnouts/drifting!!!

Hopefully some of you will be able to make our casual dinner meet at Lucky Lab Brew Pub Tuesday evening at 7PM. It is always a great time, grab a sandwich (and beer for those of age), and sit down to chat with other BMW enthusiasts!

Invite your BMW friends!

See you there!
The address is 1945 NW Quimby, and there is a HUGE parking lot out back.

Joe

I'd love to meet some others with the same car as me so we can shoot the **** and maybe do a little wrenching but all I see is 528's. Maybe I need to start looking for M5 guys?
Where do people take their M5s for service in Portland? I've been going to Rasumussen but it's not the most convenient for me location wise.

Are there any reputable shops in Vancouver, WA?

I believe Autohaus Bayern off 217 in Beaverton, though I'm not sure since I don't have one

I haven't seen anything in Vancouver, so far Autohaus seems to service most of the owners I know. There is usually one or two, plus a couple of racing M3's parked in front every time I go by.
