Glad so see you have it back, can wait to see it. Interesting what you describe. I had a similiar problem with an old 3 Series that the same thing happened to. Did BMW pay for it?

thanks gbogh ...ill bring the car on the next meet, i didn't have to go to bmwna my dealer took care of it, this is an interesting issue on paint ive seen a couple with the same issue in the past, here we are keeping busy with the upgrades/mods, maintenance...but what we don't know is there might be paint defects on our car... remember our warranty is running out...pls. take time to check for paint defects on you next wash, it would only take a few minutes of your time jhth...
