I'm up for it but we need to agree a venue and a date well in advance. I have to say I was a bit miffed last time when we only had four cars show up

Ashok - 4 cars is good!!

The northern UK M5 meet attracted just me and granville-fall who incidentally seems to have disappeared. The last time he was online was 2nd April - the day of the original meet

It might be better to try and make it slightly informal. Maybe meet in a McDonalds / service station car park (the local yoofs would probably make a mess in their burberry pants seeing numerous M5s all together) and then head off for a couple of non-competitive laps around a local circuit. Possible option of beer / coke (fizzy variety) afterwards. Last time the original plan was to meet for a meal - maybe that put people off

If this little meet works, it may be viable to do a Isle of Man / Nurburgring type further flung or big meet. I mean, this board does cross all borders so why not try and organise a 'WORLD WIDE M5 MEET.' Germany might be a good place - autobahns and the 'ring

Hi Dave
Nice to see another member in Preston, just been to N.Ireland to pick up a car for the wife........e46 M3 in techno violet, the car has 20" Schnitzer alloys and a Schnitzer back box (very loud). Hadn't had chance to play with it, but my e39 M5 is quicker.

I'm up for meet anyway.

Cheers Steve

Now your flipping talking!!!!!
Sure, we'll agree a meeting place, defo up for beer/pop and maybe quick pub lunch??

I agree that if numbers are good and everyone gets on, we gotta try for a meet in Germany for the ring. This would just be awesome.

Bad news about previous meets guys. Trust me....I'm not for letting anyone down.

I can't believe there are two M5's in Preston and i've never managed to see either. I spend quite a bit of time in and around that area on business and visiting a number of friends having lived there for a few years a while back.
