1/24 scale BMW E39 M5 Saloon
Hey guys, I found this website with a 1/24 scale version of the beast. Looks very detailed with exception of the rims.

Thanks for the find. I'm gonna get one. I can live with the wheels!

We're getting closer
The wheels don't do it for me either. 1/18 would show even more detail. Kyosho makes an excellent model of the E46 3series & the X5. All 4 doors, hood and trunk open. The wheels are also exact replicas.
I sent the poll results to BMW, hopefully we'll have something soon.

I have one of these, it has all of the items on the one shown here plus correct alloys and M5 badge on the rear.

Model:
1167 BMW M5
2 double-exhaust pipes in chrome
very detailed interior
You will have to scroll down to find it, i think they do an on line order, I got mine through a model car specialist shop in the UK.

Looks to me the steering wheel in that model is the one from the regular 5 series.

Darren, The only M5 I can find at Schabak is 1:43 scale which is number 1167. Is this the one you have? I was really looking for something bigger.

From the pic., the wrong steering wheel, rims, and lack of M5 badge are not good. I'll wait for a bigger and more accurate model in LeMans Blue.

I just want to know what kit he sourced the body from... I'll make my own M5 if I could find that...
