carbon blue and 2002

Appreciated it if anyone can help me out.

1. Does anyone have a carbon black M5 in southern CA? I'm was thinking of ordering but heard that it's really carbon "blue" and would like to see it in person.

2. Is it possible to get MSRP in southern CA?

3. Will BMW finally upgrade their GPS system, starting with the 2002 7er with its much-bragged "iDrive", with DVD-based GPS, and thus upgrading the M5 for 2002?

I have Carbon Black and might be able to help you

Also the NEW nav in the 7 is NOT DVD based, that was a nasty rumor. BMW has confirmed that they will be staying with the normal NAV system for the next year or two.

I was a little surprised to find that my "Carbon Black" M5 is really a dark blue.

Yes, it is blue. In the sunlight the blue is very obvious. At night the car looks black.
