Thanks to all who attended the sucessful event today. We had a wonderful time with no regretful incidents. We drove approximately 200 miles or so. Brunch on the bay at Sag Harbor was nice and the spirited drive back was exhilirating.
Blue Max and Family M5....can't wait to see the photos. Dr. Jim, you now have the award for cleaning the car at every rest stop....even more than Max. MFreak...it was good to see you back in true form with a new clutch. Albert & Tanya...I'm sure you guys are taking another bathroom break right now as we speak...it was good to see you after our last Long Island meet. Fais....thx for keeping an eye on the straglers. Vas....hope you got back to CT safely.....you were driving the heck out that beast...you and MFreak were doing about 160 on Ocean Pkwy. As for Dave and Woody (NSX Twins)....always great to have you along...if we ever get stopped...they're going after you guys first...smile!
I'm now sitting at the JFK BA lounge waiting to board my flight back to London. See you guys in September.
Wooo hehe sounds like you guys had a lot of fun and there were some memorable moments... hehe JFKairport? do they have wireless lan there? or did u connect thru something else?
OK, I'll admit it, I do have a bit of compulsiveness about keeping my beast clean. All I have to say to Max and Sean is: people who live in glass houses shouldn't fire semi-automatic weapons. Max, a full wash and wax BEFORE the meet and holding up our leaving from Sag Harbour while you cleaned all the rims. Sean, a wash and wax Saturday, cleaning your wheels while Max and I have them off your car and probably another clean-up Sunday AM. As we know from other addicts, the first step is admitting you have a problem. Repeat after me, "my name is Max/Sean and I'm addicted to cleaning my car."
To all who attended: Great time and hope to do it again soon.
To my lead-pack posse, Sean, Dave, Robert and Albert: Much fun after the traffic opened a bit. Too bad for that MB 500 coupe who thought he could hang!
Jim....as I read your post, I'm laughing in my office hysterically....you're the funniest. I will admit....my name is Sean and I do have a beast dependency!
