It's At The Preparation Center----Now How Long???? This wait seems like it's going on forever----how long from arrival at the preparation center, to delivery at my dealership in Nashville, TN???

Sorry to be so childish about all this, but then again, you've all ben through this!!!!

As soon as BMW is done with it at the VPC, it should be in transit for one to two days. Then your dealer will probably take a day to do their prep work. Hopefully you will have it by Friday. Good luck trying to sleep this week.

European delivery was fun----but now I'm starting to wonder if it was enough fun to go through the torture of this wait. When you buy an M5, you don't save anything w/European delivery---that would make it worth the wait........I think next time, I'll rent in Europe!!!!

Looks like we're racing each other, Aces. Any bets on who crosses the line first?

I called a pal in Vegas. The bookmakers there are making me a 7/6 favorite because of the shorter trucking distance.

And down the stretch they come...
