Computer Reset ??

Driving along on a long trip the other day the computer suddenly lost the time, date, therefore any accumulated computations of mpg etc. I've driven about 900 miles since then and it has not happened again.

Has anyone else experienced computer reset problems ?

I happened to me once - about 6 months ago. Right on a middle of driving my daughter on a passenger sit asked: - "What happend to a clock?".

Right now - the only problem with this monitor I have - is after a short stop (turning engine off). instead of radio station or Tape side or CD #, track # - there is a horisontal line.
That recovers after car stays overnite.

I tryied to get a software upgrade, but my dealer service department said that there is no service bulletin nor recall on that.
They are too lazy.

It might resolve the problem.
Current version I have - 2-1/50
