Fuchs titan GT1 oil?

This oil has just been launched its 5/30 and LL-04 spec.£44.99 for 4 ltrs

Apparantly its the best BMW oil yet.
Anyway Im gonna give it a try in the beast since i really dont want to go with TWS 10/60,going against BMW's word would be sacralidge imo.

I came to the conclusion,(mabe im wrong!) that the S62 doesnt need 10/60 because of its lower specific output and lower revs compared with the S54 & S85 which need a thicker oil.

Hope the crank doesnt disagree.

A quick update on how this oil performs.

I changed it befor the weekend and managed to get 8 ltrs from Euro car parts for 37.99 x2.

The oil hadnt been changed for 5000 miles and it was done by the last owner so im not sure which oil they used at the dealers, mabe it was TWS thats what they all recommend .

With this new oil in the engine sounds nicer and seriously it feels quicker, the oil temps have dropped aswell.

Hope this helps anyone looking for a good Long life oil, bear in mind its LL-04 so its a highr spec than LL-01.

Highly recommended.

If the temps dropped by a notch, then I suspect the old oil was TWS10W60.

I had the wife stop by the dealer on her way to the airport to pick up mother in law. Bmw 5w30 is about $5/qt and TWS 10w60 is over 9. No wonder BMW is pushing the TWS. I am sticking with the 5w30 for now. It seems to me like a big difference b/n a 5w30 and a 10w60 oil. I am not yet sold.
