Any suggestions for selling an M5

Unfortunately, I need to sell my M5 for unforeseen circumstances.

However, I've placed my ad in the autotrader for 3 weeks and no luck.

The beast is in excellent condition, but no real bites. I'm trying to dish it out for a reasonable price but I think there isn't much of a real market in Phoenix.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how/where to sell my car, i.e. Ebay? Has anyone had any luck using any other services?

Thanks for the advice in advance.

I found mine on Roadfly. That, here, bimmerfest, bimmerforums, all free and all worth a shot.

Styles,

I know it's tough for the resale of the M5. It's such a specialty piece, those that have them are pationate about their cars but there aren't alot of us. The most difficult thing is accepting that the value continues to drop with depreciation and the introduction of new models.

I have watched the wholesale market on the M5 recently at the auctions and they just aren't bringing much.

If you want to sell your car dump the price and as trackstar suggests, run ads on roadfly and here. Ebay is also great, not much sells directly off Ebay but quite a few people will send you emails after the auction is over and negotiate a sale. The reality is that if the price gets low enough someone will buy it.

Just swallow hard and be prepared to sell your car for less than what you think it might be worth. There are more people trying to sell their M5's than buy them, epecially with the introduction of the new M5.

Good luck.

This board is probably the best place to sell!
but you are looking for a fast sale I would probably recommend e-bay.
Good luck on your sale.

BTW, if it is the '02 with 38,000 miles, I'd be over there looking at it right now if it weren't for the two-tone interior .
