Well, I bought Stallion M5's M5 on Friday and drove it back home to Seattle on Saturday. (after Bimmerfest, and now this... I really need a while before I go on another long road trip) First off, I have to say thinks to Adrian. he was a great host and a really nice guy to deal with. Good luck with the new M5.
As for me, I run the Seattle5s E39 SIG here in the Seattle. I've owned a '98 540i 6-speed for the past three years and loved every day of it. I always chuckled inside when I heard people call the M5 a beast... because how much more powerfull could it be than my 540? Well now I know and when I drive the car, it really does feel like a beast. It's so different, it's taking much longer than I expected to get used to the car.

Matt have we met before? Bimmerfest Canada? I know there was a contingent of Seattle5s and Seattle7s in attendance 2 years ago.

I had the black ACS'd E46 323i over by the lunch tent (wayyyy right and to the back of where your pic was taken) I was close to the AW E46 M3 with the LSB interior and the SC'd 330Cic.
Got myself into an 03 JB Beast now

cool. I wish I could come up this year for the event, but I just can't afford to take the time off work. Maybe next year I'll try to make both Bimmerfest events.
