Elizabeth went into the shop today for a new bumper, headlight, fog lamp assy, and paint today. While they are at it im having them paint the hood, repair 2 small dings in the passenger fender and smoot and shoot the rear bumper. I'll get her back towards the end of the week - when I do I'll take pictures!

Hope all goes well! BTW how much was the front bumper?
Bumper is about $600. They asked if I would go aftermarket but I insisted on OEM. They are also repainting the hood while they are at it to get rid of all of the rock chips. PPG and ICar certified shop. Plus the warranty from my insurance company

Hope it all works out for you. On an up note at least you have an excuse to touch up any imprefections and fix all the rock chips.

Exactly my response! The fender the tire hit wasn't 100% either, the bumper was rock chipped and they only charged me an extra $700 to repaint and straighten everything else. The paint will be about 99.9% now and the body will be 100%.

Did the insurance cover everything or did you have to pay your deductible? I saw a board member with a CF chin spoiler. Can't remember who it was but it looked unique.
Mine has quite a few small rock chips on it along with a few on the hood. Nothing major but have a tire crunch my chin spoiler would be a good reason to get them fixed up like new.

Insurance is covering the bumper, headlight, driving light, fender damage, and paint. Had to pay my deductible as a comprehensive loss.
