Lost/Confused Navigation

First off, Happy Easter everyone

Just wondering if anyone knows or can help. I have a navigation system that cannot figure out where it is routes. I think i have pulled the GOS antenna out by mistake!!!

Whilst installing my new icelink (thanks Tom), i had to trace back the coaxial cable from the cd changer to the amp and unplug it. Unfortunately another coaxial cable also came out when i pulled the wire. I have no idea where it comes from but it runs down the side of the car.

Does anyone know where this coaxial cable is supposed to be plugged and even if this is the GPS antenna??

PS, thanks to Cosioboy and redshift for their instructions on how to install the icelink. Just got to get the nav sorted now.....

Ther are 2 COAX cables back there. One plugs into the radio unit that is closest to your rear driver tail light, and another in the navi CD/DVD. you must have flipped them around ! There is a small metal box closes to your tail light. you will see the plug right there. switch them around ! That should do it ! Had the same problem when I installed my MKIV

Hi Gamedemon,

I'm not sure that is it. The metal box closet to the tail light is the headunit right? Never touched the coax from there. Notice how the headunit has two coax cables in it.

In my second picture, notice the coax cable on top of the DAC (please dont mind the mess, once everything is working, i'll neaten it all up), i have no idea where this has come from so what to plug into.

The third pic is the space i have to get my enourmous hands into!!

Any ideas? Im not sure what you meant by 'switch them around'? Sorry........

Im not getting sound from my ipod so any ideas anyone?
