Transit Blocks still Fitted!!!!!!!!

So I decided to bite the bullet and take my Beast to a specialist rather than main dealer. The car has a full BMW dealer history? from new and has now covered 58000 miles.

On collecting the car, I was amazed when the technician handed me a bunch of nylon bushes..

These were actually the stoppers fitted to the suspension for when the car is being transported, and should have been removed at the PDI ....

So 58000 miles later and a bunch of services and also MOT's and these were never spotted........

It took a specialist to find them...What can I say....

Did your car look unusually high? and i'm fairly sure that it must handle a little better...

It wasn't actually sitting on them! It just had limited the movement and I guess must have been stopping out on them early!

No wonder I have been sending the rear passengers through the roof!

have your entire suspension checked for issues thay may be minor..but there may have been some premature wear created by the transit pieces still being in there. Someone should pay for that if true..and it shouldn't be you.
