Nice work Tino. You taught me a few things such as the softener. How did I miss this thread???!
Any time, Bill. My knowledge transfer to you has been a meager attempt at equal reciprocation.

This thread deserves a bump, as spring time is coming.
I just used this process on my MY '00 last week and it worked just as described. I have owned the car for 2 years, and the leather wasn't this soft when I purchased it.
I used foam stain applicators and the saran wrap method on the seats, dash, upper door panels and armrest. The leather has never looked better.
Is there anything that can be done thats doesnt require multiple days of absorbing/etc?
Right now the M5 is daily driver, and I dont think sitting on the soffner would be too good for my clothes... Of course, it would give me an excuse to ride my 2 wheel'd BMW for awhile
Gavin, Laidback, I will have to take a look at the results next time I see you guys.

The number of days you devote to absorption is directly proportional to your level of 'analness'. I am sure you can still achieve positive results if you let it soak for a couple of days.
At the end of day, even if you apply and wipe within a day, your leather will still look much more rejuvinated than without the treatment.

Big thumbs up!
Thanks, chrisj, glad it made a difference for you. I am waiting for the next warm weekend and do my 'spring' cleaning

Hey guys...I have 26K on my Beast and it almost never gets prolonged periods of sun exposure. The leather is in "as new" condition for the passenger and rear seats and almost as new for the driver seat. The leather feels pretty soft to me already. Would I still benefit from this product or is it primarily intended for old negected leather?

Maintenance twice a year would definitely benefit your leather...
