BMS at California Speedway
As most of you probably know by now, BMS is my shop of choice in southern California. I was able to attend my first NASA race last weekend and had a blast watching and taking pictures.

The results of BMS cars at California Speedway:

Qualifying (3-11-06)
Tom Miller, 2nd, C-Modified
John Trefethen, 1st, D-Modified
Brett Strom, 3rd, J-Stock
Joshua Zwart, 3rd, IP

Race 1 (3-11-06)
John Trefethen, 1st, D-Modified
Brett Strom, 1st, J-Stock
Bob Strom, 3rd, J-Stock
Joshua Zwart, 2nd, IP, in only the second race of his rookie season

Race 2 (3-12-06)
Tom Miller, 4th, C-Modified, after eating a little grass

Race 3 (3-12-06)

Not quite the sweep they had at Infineon, but a good weekend nonetheless - especially considering that Trefethen didn't run at all on Sunday.

That sez alot about Chris and the crew with setting up a car.
I was going to go out there and the Temecula rod run but didn't with the rain.

Why not? It was only 46 degrees and wet, what's wrong with that

Although Sunday was GORGEOUS. 9am and it was 43 degrees and crystal clear, with snow covering the whole mountain range!

I've been there with the same conditions.
Just looking up and seeing the whole mountain range covered with snow is impressive.
