Radar camera solutions?

I was just relaxing watching ACC basketball game, when this POS mail form DC Police arrives. We are happy to take your $50 before April 2,06 or $100 afterwards for nabbing you doing 43 on 30 right after the stop light. This like getting me on shift from 1st to 2nd. It does suck big time...I am not taking my M5 to DC anymore, nor I am going to patronize any of the blood sucking, corrupted DC estabslishments or their drug sucking politicians (Berry) who do not pay taxes on their incomes...enough venting.

Are there any working solution for radar camera picture taking capabilities?

I have read in England there is movement to destroy those robots! It is like "Man against machines", what does it take to kill these robots?

Man, I hate DC, but I have to work with my prospects and clients who are located in that foresaken city. Metro might be a viable alternative...

Igor

There used to be a clear plastic cover that you could buy that bolts over the top of the plate and was designed to be transparent only at perpendicular angles. View it from the side (where the camera would be) and the plate was unreadable.

Those are now illegal in Canada. I'm sure the US won't be too far behind. Use 'em while you can.

I'm not sure about other jurisdictions, but anything that covers your license plate is illegal in Hawaii. We had laser cameras set up a couple of years ago, and the police were ticketing those with license covers.

If the cameras use radar, wouldn't a V1 be effective?

P.S. Hope your team won this weekend. If you're a Terrapin fan, I think they'll need a miracle this week to get into the dance.

There is a spray you can buy (can't remember the name) that is supposed to work very discretely. It's hard to tell if it does work, but I went by a radar van, got a flash, but never got the ticket...

May I ask how soon after you got the ticket from the incident?

There are quite a few laser radars in my neighborhood, posted at the top of street lights. I've been nailed a few times doing roughly the same speed in a 35 zone, but no tickets yet. Maybe tomorrow

A chity cop nailed me for no plates in the front and another citation for a clear cover in the back, just as he pulled out of the police station. He was a rude jerk and said anything covering the plates is illegal. I don't mind paying the fine, but being a jerk is another thing.

On another note, imagine the millions of cars with dealer named plate covers driving around without being heckled.
