It's still a month or more away from being set up to test the new chassis.
Right now it was only done to show the ute, so not at all ready to be driven.
We don't have any power steering right now, and trust me you can't turn the wheel much without it.

He's heading to SEMA and wants it done by then.
Not sure if that will be the case, but I'd like to think it's down in Melbourne and pretty good by then????


It's way stiffer then stock.
My builder said the other day that by jacking up one corner it props the other end up very quickly.

Don't know how top speed will be effected by this new body shape.
Still I may never know how fast she flogs.

No doubt about the paint job being top end.
500+ hours and you can see the cost of getting to this stage is a fair part of the build, thank god PPG kicked in near 10K in paint (cost).

He didn't even put a clear coat on it.
Just straight up spray and a direct polish.

BTW: can someone tell me what a UTE is? Is it a car converted into a truck or is it one of those funky british terms for a truck?
