I did think of doing yellow, but went with red on the calipers, so that's the direction now.
Maybe the yellow Lambo has my thing for yellow sorted?

Nah, red is the way to go over yellow IMO. I like the idea of red. Red with some real dark tinted windows and some black alcantara on the headliner and dash... that'd be mean as hell. That way you can match up the interior lights, like everything that has some sort of red backlight you to match the inside trim/seats. Anyway, good luck this morning!

I just got the Kelleners cans to the SRC shop.
I had a question to Shane about the size of the tubing from the bolt on connection point to the OEM tubing.
He mentioned that pipe was only 2 1/4" for most of the short length, but the section entering the cans and the connection tip was out to 2 1/2".
I want to use 2 1/2" pipe all the way throght the system, but I'm wondering if the 2 1/4" section will make 2 1/2" worthless as the flow rate is only as good as the slowest section a a given system?

I'm thinking of just cutting the Kelleners made pipes off and adding 2 1/2" all the way.

Worth doing or is 2 1/4" fine for the few feet that they added and it wont be restrictive ????

Flow isn't just dictated by diameter - just as much or more by flow-reducing restrictions such as bends, connections and mufflers. It's the turbulence caused by these restrictions that reduces the flow and increase back pressure.

A second issue to keep in mind with atmospheric engines is that bigger flow isn't necessary better...a certain amount of back pressure is necessary.

I wouldn't go through the trouble of replacing the 2 1/4" section but then again I don't think you've taken the easy way out on any of this project.

Only a couple of shots, but the roof is just about finished, this time made in all carbon.
Gotta say it's looking like a very nice bit of work.

Can't wait to see the rear lid done....now that will be trick.

Well we're shooting for the end of next month.
There is a big ute show (biggest in the world) that brings tens of thousands of ute from all around OZ.
It will be on display there (that's the plan) Shane seems to think that's a very good chance.

Right now whats left is trim for the dash/roof/pillars (alcantara)
New full grain red leather around the COBRA race seats.
Paint carbon roof/rear lid + hood in tinted clear coat.
re-do the wheels (de-chrome the lips, acid wash)
Make the center and lips in just plain brushed alloy.
Fit new HID + projector lights from Stealth Auto.
Get closer to final spring/shock settings from KONI.
New front glass fitted + the custom side and rear glass fitted.
