FWIW, my buddy has these on his Elise; they came stock with the Touring pack. He got a good year of street driving (5800 miles) including 2 trackdays and a handful of autocrosses out of them, but the last 15% of their tread seems to be unusable; the car now pushes all over the place.
We've both wondered what a heavier car like our Coupes will do on these tires...but both of us are afraid they'd get too greasy...and the Coupe isn't nearly m5 weight.
A new set just went on his Elise today, in time for Buttonwillow with the San Diego BMWCCA Feb. 18/19.

They do come in the OEM sizes...my main concern is, how do they perform in the wet? Also...Ive heard they arent as good as the old 215s in ultimate grip

E55AMG,
I cant speak from personal experience with the 215's, but according to a recent test by Grassroots motorsports the 615s are better than the 215s in overall grip levels, are claimed to perform better in the wet according to falken engineers, and are more consistent across a broader range of temperatures.

Though I do not know Dinan, my guess his company's reputation is a stake each time he endorses a product. So there may be some substance to his endorsement. I recall the now discontunued A008 Yokos as one great (granted dry conditions) tire, that I'd like to see repeated in an upgraded format for our car. I'm in La La land, no rain to worry about (yet) so bring on those only good in dry conditions tires! I've talked to other M5 folks who have the Kumho's - not so good compared to my PS2s. I'd like to see if Yoko can come up with another great tire.

Acorrding to GRM- Better in the wet, lighter, better grip and better heat resistence than the 215, but 25% more expensive than the 215. Also the 615 ran by far the fastest lap times in the GRM test...unless its raining 615, hands down. And I can speak from experience on both tires, as well as the Advan ao46, kumho 712, and Mx's, and pilot sports, like I said above unless its raining...

How long have you had them? I had a friend who recently took a set of tires out to the track with barely any mileage on them and the mold release agent had him sliding all over the place. Maybe that's what you are feeling? Havent really heard any serious complaints about the Neovas yet, besides the pricing.

Stock tire size is 275, even though a 285 would fit, they do not have them for the front in 245.
