Vanos kit

Was wondering if anyone would know what this kit called that helps keep the vanos lubricated? It is specifically for E39 M5. So cold start would not be as noisy. Where can I get it and how much? Has anyone tried it.

Thanks

VANOS kit

In my notes from another member:

VANOS Noise
The VANOS system causes a slight ticking noise when the car is at idle. It is barely perceptible and you only really hear it when the car is running and the hood is open. As for start-up, there should be no clatter or noise. If your car is a MY2000, there is a VANOS solenoid upgrade kit that makes the noise go away.....it basically increases the oil pressure to the system at start-up. MY2001-2003 came with the upgraded solenoid. VANOS is a very high compression system (1450 psi of oil pressure to run it) so hearing some slight ticking, as described above, is normal. Anything longer or louder needs to be investigated. Part number is 11-36-7-832-855 - VANOS service kit.

I find the start-up noise is notably louder if the nose of the car is pointed uphill..when it has been parked for a while...as in a few hours or more. Maybe less time, but it does make more noise when it is parked nose up on a hill.
