I pull the trigger today on my 03 beast

All,

Well after looking for the right M5 for 6 months I finally found her. She is a 2003 model with only 13,000 miles. Sterling Grey with black interior and titanium trim. The car was traded in for a new Porsche 997 and is absolutely flawless, and has 18 months left on the OEM warranty. I drove 100 miles from Sacremento back to the bay area and I am blown away by this car. BTW I am the person with the 540 6 speed trade up question . I will now answer my own question which is even though the 540 is a nice car, there is no comparison with the beast. Also I can't believe how people stare at this car. It is nice to now be an official M5 owner on the board. Thanks for all of your help with my questions.

BIG CONGRATS!!!! I just got my '03 on Friday. In fact I believe mine was also traded in on a 997. Enjoy, I know I am.

Congratulations

Was that the one at Niello (sp?) Porsche? If so, did you have a PPI done in the area? How was your experience in dealing with folks long range?

Thanks for any answers - I'm sill looking.

Chuck
