Modifications! 19" BBS LM, AA intake, Alpina spoiler, ACS splitters...Pictures!

Hello again everyone,

Just thought you guys and gals might enjoy another update. Well I am still just totally in love with this car, and I don't see that changing...ever.

I decided to continue with my all silver and black theme. I put my 19" BBS LM wheels on, got the Active Autowerke intake, AC Schnitzer front bumper splitters, Alpina rear trunk lip spoiler, and OEM painted black rear bumper diffuser. I am very pleased with the results! This is the "vision" I had when I originally bought the M5 a couple of months ago when it was completely stock.

Magnum body shop in Marietta, GA did the paint work and install on the splitters, spoiler, diffuser, and intake. They really do great work there.

What do you guys think? Any comments or suggestions?

I know it would look better lowered some. I plan on getting the full Dinan suspension at some point. Other than that I'm not sure what else I would change on the exterior at this point. This might be the end of mods for the exterior?

However, just for fun...I am having thoughts of some black centered 19" HRE wheels with a nice polished lip as my second set of wheels...but I love the racy look of the BBS...not selling them!

I love the look of the Active Autowerke silver intake ducts, I know some people on the board are not too crazy about them but I just love the look, on any color M5...and they are of course functional too! It's hard to say that I feel an incease in power from the new intake, but it seems like it gained power if anything, but hard to say how much, and I don't have software so that might be holding it back too. I do think though at speed, like say 50 mph and up or on the highway, there seems to be a slight bit more pull and better power in terms of pedal feel at least.

As for my next modifications in general...maybe a custom stereo?...but not sure exactly what is next right now.

Okay, enough babbling...here's the pictures.

I love those BBS rims. Very nice job. Understated, yet makes a bold statement somehow.

One of the nicest e39 M5's I have seen , very tastefully done IMO and will look even better once the car is lowered.

Well done.
