Will this bluetooth module work? I have part #

My 2002 is pre-wired. I want to add the bluetooth module. Was hoping someone could confirm that this module will be ok?

That part number is a "telematics control unit CDMA" for the E46 series.

If I were you, I'd contact a dealer and find out what it really does before I went any further. It's certainly not a component part of what BMW markets in its "Bluetooth ULF" kits.

        Cheers

Thanks for the reply. I will call a dealer and see what they can tell me.

This ebay seller is being pretty unhelpful... they wouldn't clarify what they were selling... I would estimate that they know it is NOT an interface to allow a bluetooth enabled phone to communicate with the car's audio system... it is a cell phone module (CDMA).. it has an ESN so it is an actual cell phone device.

I'd NEVER buy from someone with all that private feedback and those hidden IDs... too fishy.
