Re: Where to get replica Hamann fog light covers?

Ugh... I just looked and didn't see any. I'll keep looking.

I didn't know if there was a vendor similar to http://www.autotecknic.com/ or http://www.eurosportdesign.com/ that might carry them.

I'll keep looking.

Has anyone bought some off eBay that could share their experience with them? Maybe point me to a reputable seller?

Ebay is definitely the source. Here are a few active ones, except for the first one, they are listed for the M3, but should fit the Beast:

Let us know if you intall one of these, I am personally interested as I have the Euro brake ducts installed.

Re: Where to get replica Hamann fog light covers?

Wow cosioboy, thanks for the links. I saw the e46 ones, and while I know the e46 and e39 share the same fog lights, I assumed that the molded cover would be different between the M3 and M5 since the bumpers are different.

Can anyone else confirm that the e46 and e39 fog light covers are interchangeable?

Has anyone used these e46 covers on their M5?

I bought the Hamann style e39 ones. I'll let you know how it goes.

Anyone ever buy the projector fogs off ebay?

Congrats! Let us know how it goes. You will need to have them professionally painted though, right? Since these are replicas, just curious the the fit and finish will be, hopefully all is good.

No experience with the projector fogs, look cool, but again my question would be their proper fitment and look, don't want it to be too ricey, if you know what I mean. A Xenon conversion might be a better way to spend the $100, like that offered by Bimian. Just my 2 cents.

Keep us posted

Re: Where to get replica Hamann fog light covers?

Heh... I'm in it for the looks

I have some umnitza projector39's I'll be installing this weekend or next, and a Xenon fog light upgrade kit.

I just had my M5 bumper conversion done to my 540 and it looks goofy with out the Hamann fog light covers. I guess it's not that bad really, but when you've seen a car with the Hamann covers, it makes you feel like the car was ment to be like that. Know what I mean?

I hear you! Make some pics when you do the paint + install of the fog ducts, plus I will be curious how the projectors look like. Good luck
