Re: Were front plate mounts dealer installed?

Thank you, Hanz ...

My salesman, Hanz, told the dealer, his boss, not to install the front plate as he knew I was a finatic about my cars. The plate hardware was in the trunk and I was as happy as a clam. I didn't know I would have a choice!

Living in California, I have been lucky (2 and a half years, and 38,000 miles), but maybe because I have kept the new car registration receipt in the front window. Unsightly, but easier to remove, if need be. I know a long-time salesman at the dealer whose 540i6 still has the receipt in the front window ... and, no front plate.

The cops in California should spend their time "catching" people who travel slow in the leftmost lane (#1 lane) and will not yield to fast traffic approaching from behind ... That's my $0.02.

Re: Were front plate mounts dealer installed?

a little off topic, but somehow appropriate...

while we are on the topic of front plates, does anyone know of a euro plate holder that doesnt require drilling?
