Just put the last 6 numbers of my chassis number on the OEM parts website realoem.com and the system jumps automatically to the correct month of manufacture

you can also look at the decal in the drivers door jamb. that realoem site is nice, i wonder how long bmw will let them have it!?

Mine only gives MY 00, not the month but it is in arabic so may be wrtten.
On US cars both month and year are printed, mine says 6/00
