DSP Resets Itself

Does anyone else have this problem? My DSP settings are saved to Memo 1.
But every day it resets itself to "flat". I do not loose the Memo setting but I always have to re-select it.

Any ideas as to why it does this? Could it be my key setings.

Thanks

Jordan

Re: DSP Resets Itself

this is a software issue. Not the nav software, something the dealer must program. My wife's 02 525iT did this too, annoying, but a trip to the dealer took care of it. If you do a search, it's been discussed before (what hasn't!?).

Here's one link, Interminent problem with DSP but i know there are more because i've give this reply before. Stump this board, no way.

Re: DSP Resets Itself

I have the same thing happening with my DSP. I'm not convinced however that the DSP EQ settings actually change although the display shows the settings as flat after restarting the car.

Try this test: With the DSP on Memo1 (or whatever your settings are saved to) turn off your car, and then on again so your settings look flat. Carefully listen to your favourite music and then turn on Memo1- I can't hear a change. Now repeat the test, but this time, turn off the DSP- suddenly the music sounds flat!

If the only "bug" is the display, I'm not sure I care if the actual settings are retained!
