I have a 2000 M5 with the Business RDS head unit. I have just purchased a Alpine 632 MP3 changer and soundlinx interface. It all works fine, but as the head unit is M-bus (old style) i get no ID tags or even directory info on the head unit. All i get are numbered tracks 1-99, and you cannot skip between directories (albums). So the only way to select you desired album is to keep skipping tracks until you get there (i.e. track 34 is the stat of the desired album). The CD changer suports i-net (or something like that) which means you can have directory structures and ID tags etc. Is there a stereo option for the 5 series which also supports i-net so that i can use this feature???? And if so how easy is it to install.
