Tech: Foglamp replacement DIY question
I've got a replacement OE lamp to go in where I had a cracked lens. I cannot remember how to remove the black plastic surround to get access to the lamp mounting bolts. IIRC, it just pops out with a little pressure.

Anybody here shed some light on this for me?

I took mine off by putting two fingers on the center-facing part of the black plastic surround adjacent to the lens housing and then giving a sharp pull outwards. The cover just pops off.

Perfect! I knew it was pretty straightforward; 'tis better to use finger pressure than pry with a tool!
