I got in touch with a private person who sells Navteq Cd's. Being that I am designated in NY, I asked him for the CD that has the NY map. The good news is, two CD's carry the NY map. The bad news is, both of those CD's only carry parts of NY.
For instance, the CD of Map 5 holds: the entire states of Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia and parts of Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
Where as the CD of map 6 holds: the entire states of Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington D.C. and parts of Maryland, New York, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
Prior to the new upgrade I thought Navteq sold CD's divided by region (for example: North East, which included all of NY). Being that I have no choice but to buy one of these CD's (since my car doesn't have any), does anyone know which one is best suited for NY?

I have 2001.2 and it is the same way with New York split between disks 5 and 6. I am not using them because I sold my car so if you are interested in them, send me a PM. I'd sell the whole set for $50.00 or so shipped.
