m6board.com Presents 911 Turbo vs. BMW M6 video

Here.

2nd race here with Launch Control.

BMW M6 vs. 911 Turbo. Both cars original. Rolllings start at 50 km/h when we cross some cones. We end the race at around 240-250 km/h, looks like the 911 Turbo driver finish to floor it a bit before me.

I think the "Bling" is set at 255 km/h.

Re: m6board.com Presents 911 Turbo vs. BMW M6 video

Amazing! The M6 is even faster than I imagined.

However, the aspect ratio is incorrect (squished), and can't be fixed with the awful Google Video player.

I realize it's still in beta, but I think the Google Video player is garbage. It's implemented in Shockwave, and has very poor quality resampling and very few controls. It also doesn't allow the video to be saved. Google des a lot of things very well, but video is not one of them (so far).

No offense intended to Gustav or others who have used it, but please consider alternatives with better quality and/or the ability to download.

Thanks,
- Dave

Seems odd the M6 would pull that much ahead if even at all.

Jayspon, what are you basing that on?

Also, yes I did wrong aspect ratio. I think Ill try to change it, I mistakenly uploaded it in widescreen ratio.

Google is good since they are hosting it, and it is not possible to host larger quality files, it will be too much traffic. However more movies will come.

0-60 times and quarte miles are not the only measuring there is... Here we do to 250 km/h. Also, why wouldnt a 507 HP, 4WD be faster than a 420 HP 4WD car?

Also, the upcoming ivdeo from standstill you seee that the Porsche leads below around 60 mph but when the M6 gets traction it is bye bye.

I'm aware thats not the only measureing stick but it's a good one none the less. The porche weights somthing like 3300 lbs the m6 around 3950, the porche has more tq. Also the M6 is rwd not 4wd. I'm not upset at it, I like the m6 thought about getting one, just don't expect it to beat a 911 turbo.
