Headlight/Fog Light Question

After much reading, I am confused. Is it fair to say:

1. That my 2001 M5 has Angel Eyes? Are they ccfl angle eyes?
2. Is it normal for the passenger's side light to shine down the road further?
3. Self leveling? (they wobble a little when I turn them on)
4. That my low beams are 4300K?
5. HID = 6000K xenon bulbs?
6. That I can just plug in a pair of Bimmian xenon replacement bulbs w/o a ballast for my fog lights? I just want the colors to match.
7. To make them all match 6000K, is it easier to just replace the entire main headlight assembly ccfl? (low and high beams) and to replace the bulbs in my fog lights?

Whew. I am away from my car for only another 2 1/2 weeks. Just purchased it before I left town. At least I had a day and a half with it.

Thanks,

Chris

Re: Headlight/Fog Light Question

1) Yes, and no. Stock AE uses 2 halogen bulbs and fiber optics to transfer light to the rings.

2) Yes, sharp cutoff on the driver side is to avoid blinding oncoming traffic

3) Yes, you got self leveling. All factory xenon are self leveling

4) Correct

5) HID stands for High Intensity Discharge. aka, Xenon 4300k is the bulb most factory HID uses, other color bulbs are available in the aftermarket.

6) Your factory fogs are standard 55W Halogen lights, if you want true HID you will have to get a HID kit whch includes ballasts and HID bulbs. Or you can just get some HID looking bulbs which will match the color of your headlights

7) For you headlight you just need to get some 6000k HID replacement bulbs. For the fogs you have a choice of getting an 6000k HID kit or just get some 6000k lookalike halogen bulbs to replace the stock bulbs.
