Not a bad job James however the pic quality is a bit pixelated, maybe try higher photo setting on your digi cam? The black Kidney grill and surrounds looks nice - got me thinking now.

Re: Pic. Test First Attempt

Looks like noise in the picture that is making it look "pixelated". Check your ISO setting, it might be too high.

Re: Pic. Test First Attempt

Thanks for the compliments guys. I've been away for a while and just now have had a chance to see what you thought. The black kidneys add a bit of elegance I think and also they don't distract attention from the hood slope and headlights as much as the chrome do.
I'm still useing 35mm for now as I've got no idea when it comes to digital photography. I don't know why some of my pics look pixelated as you say. Perhaps they are too large and get reduced which causes this? Like I say, no idea here.
Here's another view, 28mm lens & all setting on auto.
Maybe it won't be as pixelated.

Yep, looks the same as the first. They look fine when pulled up from the storeage file.

They are only 'pixelated' when they first open, if you hold the mouse over the image (bottom right) and expand the size the pixelated look is gone.

Re: Pic. Test First Attempt

The car looks good! The image quality is good but we may be seeing some grainyness in the picture from the original film. Near black in a picture can cause this. What film speed are you using? What size picture are you scanning and at what DPI? My scanner causes artifacts from a lot of pictures I scan.

Digital cameras make it so much easier. Just upload from the camera and post as an attachment.

Re: Pic. Test First Attempt

Richard.
I'm useing 400 speed film and have prints loaded onto disk at developers. Not sure of resolution. It was a pretty cloudy overcast day. I'm just glad to get the posting done, now I'll work on the quality.
Thanks.
