Tubi tip Cracked!!!

While having my new tires installed Friday and while the car was in the air, I noticed the right side exhaust tip is cracked around the inner circumfrence of the tip of my Tubi.
Anyone else having or seen this problem? I've only had the exhaust less than 1 year, I believe. I left a message for Beastpower but didn't hear back from them on Friday.
I live in Atlanta, so weather shouldn't have been a factor and there have been no bumps or knocks of any sort that could have loosened the weld. I've driven maybe 11,000 miles in the past 12 months, so usage is modest to say the least.
I'd appreciate any comments if you've seen this.
I was amazed at the quality and workmanship when I first received the Tubi, but now I cannot believe I paid over $1800 for something that appears to already be coming apart.

Re: Tubi tip Cracked!!!

Wow, tripleD sorry to hear that! I feel for ya...

That would be interesting if you could take a picture of what you are talking about...you are right, I wouldn't expect any of these expensive exhaust systems to "fall apart" or crack. Maybe Beastpower or Tubi Style has a warranty?

Hopefully I'll see ya on Sunday the 23rd. I believe we are going to meet at 1:00 or 2:00 behind Houlihan's.

Re: Tubi tip Cracked!!!

TripleD

I am sorry to say that my Tubi was also cracked at the Y section that connects to the cats. I only found out about this because I went to have a spacer put in between the cross member section due to the fact that the Tubi's were constantly tapping against it which resulted in a horrible vibration throughout the car. Then...while the mechanic was installing the spacers, he noticed an exhuast leak! So I was able to have the cracked section welded at the same the time the spacers were installed...however, the Tubi shouldn't have cracked in the first place!!! I am curious as to the warranty offered by Tubi for this possible "defect". If enough owners/members are experiencing this, then a phone call and/or complaint might be in order.

Regards,

Marion

Should you just contact Tubi? I would think Beastpower just sells the product and like any merchant, after 30 days, they are not obligated to take care of you. 616-396-1979

What kind of warranty does Tubi offer? Although their stuff looks nice, their website doesn't do anything to convince me to get one. They don't even mention any kind of guarantee on their products. I was interested in doing an exhaust upgrade recently, but now, I'm kind of glad I didn't.

Web site may suck, but tubi is the name for exhausts. Big deal for ferrari's esep.

Re: Tubi tip Cracked!!!

Any updates regarding this? I am in the midst of getting a set and a bit concerned if it's a QC or reliability problem. Thanks.

Re: Tubi tip Cracked!!!

This in not good news...I had read a lot about exhaust and had decided to go with the Tubi, but I'm going to wait until we hear back from you on the warrenty from them. If they don't fix your problem then I will look into another product.

Keep up updated!

Re: Tubi tip Cracked!!!

That $ucks..... I will check my exhaust system. Have not noticed anything, but was not looking either. For the price, there should not be problems, and Tubi should stand behind their products. Let us know how this works out for you.

I called Beastpower to actually get a number for Tubi as well as see if they knew of any warranty or have heard of any other situations like this. I still haven't heard from Beastpower and called them again today as well as emailed them today.

I've also emailed Tubi and will advise you of their response.
