As far as I know, the only difference between '02 and '03 models is the addition of DVD Nav in the '03s.
'02s use multiple-dsc CDs.
Take care.

P.S. Yes, it could be that you saw an '02 with a DVD-based Nav drive. While that was not stock equipment, the previous owner may have swapped the CD for the newer DVD drive. I have heard of this somewhat frequently.
I remember hearing about that feature for the '02's. Honestly, Gustav, that one option alone makes me embarassed about these cars. I put that feature right up there with the rain-sensing wipers.
I mean, seriously...I can drive a stick with almost 400 hp, but just flippiing that switch for the headlights is just toooo much? I need the convenience of the car doing it automatically?
Didn't Cadillac pioneer this feature? I think it was in my grandfathers '85 Fleetwood Brougham.
Yup, 03: auxiliary input jack for audio devices was an option; also, I believe 03s had the ability to receive OEM Bluetooth capabilty whereas 02s and older could not. (again , I am referring to OEM bluetooth versus a third-party retrofit kit like the ones at www.bimmernav.com).
02 can receive bluetooth kit, but must have a build date of March '02 or newer. DVD Nav and 4 year warranty for regular maintenance are the ONLY differences between 02 and 03.
It should have been an option on yours then. I think if it has them you'll see the little "SRS" tag somewhere on the rear doors. I'll check mine later today to see if I can tell.
Did you install the DVD aftermarket? From what I'm reading on this thread, DVD wasn't available until '03.
