Can anyone identify this color.

I came across this car while I was browsing.

Does anyone know what is the color code. I've never seen this color before.

Re: Can anyone identify this color.

Um, Le Mans Blue. They even say it in the description.

Le Mans Interior, too.

Re: Can anyone identify this color.

Color and digital photos are a mess- you can make a blue car grey and a red car purple... Someone wants to make the piuctures 'pop' and dials up the saturation and next thing you know the carbon black is looking navy...

It is a hugely complex issue in publishing - how to calibrate every link in the process so the picture the photog sees on HIS computer is the same as the reader sees in a magazine....

Someone else was asking about the oxford green- a picture cannot relay the real life color. If it is critical you MUST see it in person.

Re: Can anyone identify this color.

I think you're right..

when I saw that color, I thought it was some BMW individual color but I didn't read about that in the description.

Like other have mentioned as well, it could be the lighting and the way the picture was taken...that give an illussion of different color.

Re: Can anyone identify this color.

Could be Avus blue, the color that Le Mans replaced. But the headlights are wrong since Avus was only offered in 2000. Avus is on the left below (headlights were modified to 2001).
