DME replacement

Hi guys,

Yesterday The dealer changed my "air meters"(?).
Before this I was driving and thinking I drive an M5.
After they put new airmeters,.. my car became a killer.
The acceleration is enormous. Cant't believe the differents is that big.
I paid 800 euros for two little sensors but its absolutely worth it.

Just want it to tell..

Take care y"all..

The "air meters" are probably the Mass Airflow Sensors (MAFs). When they go bad, you only need to replace the sensor, not the whole housing. Changing the sensor only takes a couple of minutes if you have the proper torx head (some need 5 point, others 6 point). There are a couple of MAF buys going on right now, about $110-115 USD per sensor. Might be a good idea to stock up at the 800 euros a pair you are now paying!!
Regards,
Jerry
