Post Connecticut M5 meet on July 22nd

Hi Everyone,
Alan and I have confirmed that we will be having our CT meet on Saturday, July the 22nd. Alan is our host and he'll be having the route planned out (for a fun drive). this is the tentative schedule:

M5 CT Meet

Stage 1
1. Meet in Topsmead State Park (Just East of the Town of Litchfield) on RT 118
2. Travel west on RT 118 which turns into RT 202 after Litchfield
3. Take RT 202 to new Preston then RT 341 N to Warren. Continue on RT 341 West to Kent
4. At Kent take RT 7 North to RT 112 to Lime Rock.

Lime Rock Park
497 Lime Rock
Road
Lakeville, CT 06039

Have Breakfast in the Area

Stage 2
1. Take RT 112 west to Route 44 then take the Taconic Parkway South - at this point people can choose where they want to go I will prbably head back to CT.

The time will be set on a day nearer to the actual meet, but the date is confirmed. I need a confirmation of how many cars will be coming along, so we can make plans for them. If any of you ar eunsure at this point, just send me an email and let me know that you're interested in takling part but unsure if you could make it. Then I'lll send you a reminder email just before we meet up. We'll be having a photoshoot and I'm hoping we can get as many M5s as possible.

Those who are interested in joining but didn't receive an email from me can send an email to me at kliu@bmwregistry.com.

Take care guys,

Kelvin

Pete,

I might be. I'm not a definite yet, but a hopeful. I'll be coming up from the Jersey Shore and usually come across the Tappan Zee to 287 and 684. You're probably off the Hutch, which also works for me. I'll let you know as my plans finalize.

Hi everyone,

I just want to remind all of you that the CT meet is still on. So far, we have about 13 guys going. Any other takers? Here the list of names I collected

- Myself
- Alan Rwambuya
- Mike Kaplan
- Albert M
- Pete M
- Will
- Gray Ross
- Tom Mcdonald
- Jeff Long
- James Chen
- William Cho
- Scott Allen Fletcher + 1 (M3 and M5)
- Andy Philips??? (Will you be able to make it Andy?)

If your name is not on the list and you would like to attend, drop me an email. The time of the meet is not fixed yet. I've given your emails to Alan and he'll be sending out a email on the time and place of the meet. All those who are going should exchange cell phone numbers. The meet should start pretty early in the morning according to Alan. Expect an email from him soon.

Take care!

Kelvin

Sometimes People Need to Read the Original Post Date

This get together was awesome, it also ocurred SIX years ago! I would definitely be up for a reprise, without the cops pulling over and ticketing several of us, sometime in August or Sept.

Peter M

I still own my car SIX years later.
