limp mode, how noticeable?

I've seen several post on "limp mode" and wonder how noticeable is it? I guess the SES light comes on, but is the performance just gone and the car "limps" when you drive it? 400HP down to 100?

My SES light does come on and off from time to time, but I dont think its limping.

Re: limp mode, how noticeable?

pretty noticable. Top speed will be no more than about 50 mph. That was what happened the one time I experienced it. You will know it when it happens.
