Hi guys. I have a 2002 m5. Just replaced clutch and fuel filter. Car ran fine when parked. Now it will turn over but won't fire.

Fuel pump is working. New filter is full. Starter is working fine. Seems like no fire.

I had the battery disconnected when doing the work. Ran it down some while trying to start. Even when hooked to a running vehicle to make sure there are enough volts, no fire.

Any ideas?

Problem probably lies back at the crank sensor since you had to remove this when doing the clutch. Chances are its not reading correctly maybe out of alignment as Sailor has mentioned.
