Radical SR3 at Sebring clip

I went out and rented a SR3 last weekend at Sebring.
A must do if you've had some track experience, as it is a bloody quick car in the right hands.
In this clip I ran a 2:18, my Gallardo runs about 10 - 15 seconds a lap slower.
This car was set up for max downforce, so top end was slightly down but bends with speed was a joke.

Hey Apples! Haven't seen you post in awhile!

The link works, but you have sign up with imagestation before they will let you see the clip.

AWESOME! Great video and thanks for sharing! Great run!

Re: Radical SR3 at Sebring clip

Yeah good to see you aboard again Apples!

The Radical is a great track car. Do you get Ariel Atoms in the US as well. Another track day car that's even more "radical".

Re: Radical SR3 at Sebring clip

Sorry I've been away for some time guys.
My M5 hasn't been driven much of late, so my M5 fix has been too random.

The Ariel Atom is pretty good I here, but isn't that the car thats all chassis with no panels?
I don't think it's a quick as a Radical, and only one passenger?

Re: Radical SR3 at Sebring clip

Wow!!! That looked like a whole lot of fun!

I especially liked watching you catch it from getting out of shape about half way through the video!

Can't wait for my next track day!

Re: Radical SR3 at Sebring clip

Yes the Radical looks like a fun car on the track. I saw one at Carolina Motorsport Park. I didn't get to see it or time it on the track. The owner drove the Porsche Cup car seen behind the Radical.

Re: Radical SR3 at Sebring clip

Last time we were at VIR, a buddy of mine was gracious enough to let me take his Radical ProSport out for a spin. It's not as fast as an SR3, but it was plenty fast enough for me. The corner speeds were insane - almost like a cartoon where the rest of the world has slowed down to 1/3 its normal pace and you are just running around like mad. It was the most fun driving experience I have ever had, period.
