Driver side angel eyes dimmer then passenger side

Is it a user replaceable set of bulbs that would be causing it? Is it a type of bulb I can get an an auto parts store or something wacky I have to get from BMW parts?

A couple things to try first; (1) switch the left bulb to the right and vice versa and (2) detach the plugs and reattach again to ensure a good connection. Doing (1) is probably good enough. Maybe you could switch the wires too. I've had this problem a couple times on two different 5 series and this trick worked both times. Finally, it's very possible that one bulb is not as good as the other. Just buy a new pair so that they match.

If the problem moves side when you switch bulbs then buy two new ones instead of just one.
They dont cost much, i just changed both mines and they cost ~30$ a side.

Ok,, so it's easy to swap the bulbs and change them, now the important question: Is it a dealer only part, or can I find it at auto parts stores?

If it's dealer only, is it something common most dealers carry in stock?

The dealer in sweden only has the "housing" and the bulb as one unit.
But from what i can tell its possible to get just a bulb at any autostore, the hard part is to get the bulb out of the housing
