Goodwood Festival of Speed

Would anyone of our brothers and sisters on the otherside of the pond go to this years event?
They have BMW 3series 30th party going on and also they had a 6 running around the track.
I thought I had heard there would be a BMW supercar in there somewhere.
Hopw someone went and snapped pictures.

Re: Goodwood Festival of Speed

Hello Brother

Went there yesterday...one of those things I'd been putting off for years, but now wish I hadn't. It was a brilliant day out.

No camera, unfortunately, but there was a very large BMW stand with the current M3,5 and 6 out the front.

The cars run up the hill in batches, and there was a batch of current high performance cars including the M6....the main thing that struck me was how much quieter the moderns were compared with......everything else.

....If anyone reading this, like me, has been putting it off for the last 10 years....you've got to go next year....and expect to stay at least 2 days to see everything.

Re: Goodwood Festival of Speed

I've been trying to get over there for about 5 yrs now.
I did see they updated the site.
Looks like the BMW super car managed to catch a haystack cracking a front fender. Thats gonna hurt in the wallet.
Good F1 coverage is better.
I think the comment made is they have better coverage then the US GradPrix this year.(and Tyres)

Guy10,
Sad to hear no camera, maybe someone else will respond.
