I'm curious too - anyone tried these yet? They're selling these for about $100 each so seems very reasonable. They also claim these MAF sensors are genuine Bosch so it would seem to be the right ones.

When will MAFs throw a code and require replacing? My L/H #s seems low around 100 in 3rd gear pulls, but it does not throw a code and the car is 106k do I need to replace them now or wait until there is a code?

If you are fine with the car is running, dont change. Wait for the code.

if you would like for the car to be slightly quicker and more responsive, go ahead and do the inevidable. If the MAFS are original, its a no brainer.

As far as MAF test scores go, I have recently "proven" that MAF test numbers are subjective BUT within a certain range.

I have NEVER pulled worse than 122 and never better than 131. THAT said, I car just ran a 331 (corrected) Rear wheel horsepower.

If you can replace MAFS and get in the 125-140 range, you are good to go

Folks,

I can't do the MAF test in 3rd gear because of the courteous 'SPEED LIMIT' reminder on the OBC. Once the reminder disappears it kicks me out of the secret menu.

Is there a way to disable it? Setting the 'Speed Limit' via the stock head unit seems to have no effect.

Yes there is

Either read your owner's manual or play with the nav unit, you WILL figure it out

I see you have a 99 model right?..how many miles on the car?..is it original Mafs..if you can pull between 137 and 142 on 2nd gear your fine ..other than that i think you need a new Mafs if you are on original ones and above 100,000km

Thank you
