Great Trip --Thanks Wake Champ

Everyone,

I picked up the Beast in Phoeinix Az. about 6:00 pm on Friday. I was back home in Hendersonville TN. about about Midnight Saturday night. I clocked about 1800 mles in 30 hours (5 hours sleep in NM). I gotta tell you, this is the best car I driven in 47 years on this earth. I have to thank Wake Champ for selling a car that was exactly as advertised. Everything was perfect.

PS. Oklahoma surprised me. I could live there if it weren't for the F5's.

Cool. Nothing like a long road trip to get used to the beast. The day after I got mine, I started a trip from San Diego to PA. Longest day was from Flagstaff to Tulsa. Then 4 months later, I drove it back. Very memorable.

Yeah, I know, it was a great trip. Had some Robert Cray and Allman Brothers to help me make it. No kidding, I love this car.

Re: Great Trip --Thanks Wake Champ

Congrats! I hope to do the same type of thing (purchase a Beast and drive it back to San Diego) in the future.

What can you tell me about the suspension? Harsh over rough highway sections? Quite? Does it have the Sport and Comfort mode like my 1995 540 M-Sport? Does it burn much oil?

Thanks and good luck with The Beast!

Mike

Re: Great Trip --Thanks Wake Champ

Glad to hear the trip went well and you are happy with the car.....Nothing like a long drive home to get a great feel for the car and what it will do. You covered some serious mileage in 30 hours! And I thought I did my 2,600 mile drive home in good time (3 days).

How about some pics of the new beast. I love the anthracite color - does it have caramel interior too? I've seen that in person...stunning combo.

Re: Great Trip --Thanks Wake Champ

I was very very sad to watch it drive away! Amazing car. I am glad the trip went well. You covered a lot of ground in two days. Maybe you can post a picture with the M next the M roadster?

The suspension is great. I was very impressed with noise level inside the car. It does have the Sport mode if you want it. Overall I thought it was a smooth ride. Didn't burn a drop of oil.
