Look what I had to jump start...

Took a boat from Dublin to Holyhead and drove down to London to check out the start of the Gumball.

On the way down I stopped to get some petrol. There stranded was a Porsche Carrera 4S, poor guy had a dead battery. He did not know why but he thought it might have been the 7 mice he found in his car a few days back! His seats were all chewed up.

Anyway here are a couple of pictures of me jumping that dead Porsche.

I always carry a cheap digital camera in the glovebox, for the 'just in case' situations. The wife does now after experiencing a bit of road rage from another driver in London a few months back. (Other driver tried to get in her car but was frustrated by the central locking, so decided to kick the passenger door in... the police know of the other driver but seem unable to locate him)

Re: Look what I had to jump start...

My bro had the jump leads. He was in a 330cic, you can see his car in my gallery. Only took a few pictures for the trip. Only got video footage of the Gumball start, will get those up as soon as I edit them.

Re: Look what I had to jump start...

Might have been easier to use the battery leads in the engine compartment of the porsche instead of at the battery. Looks like the cable is just barely long enough in that orientation. Nice cars though, both of you.

Ashok, were you at Trafalgar Sq when the Gumball was happening? I saw a Black M5 with Carmel seats, non stock exhausts driving on the road. I was check it out intently. So if you saw a chinese fella with a big white jacket checking out your car it was me. Otherwise... I might be mistaken. It was right hand drive tho, but UK reg.
