Hey guys, im in the market to change all 4 CPS (both intake and both exhaust). I had another e39 M5 and was able to source 4 new CPS, they were original, but just had the "BMW" engraving scratched off. They worked perfectly.

Can anyone tell me where I can get those again?

thanks

I got a set of 4 from Morristown BMW for $107 each, which isn't that much different than the "OEM" ones you're talking about, except they are definitely genuine BMW parts. I don't know what they would be shipped to DR though.

You're definitely thinking of Bimmerzone. That's where I got mine and they also had the best price at the time I bought.

I just wrapped up an install of 4 from this supplier. They looked to be good quality and similar to the originals, except using the new design. I believe these are from an OEM supplier.

Car runs great with the fresh CPS. I also replaced both TPS because I was getting a code for those and the throttle was acting up big time. 102K miles, so not a surprise.

Not a fun job. If you can get the drivers side intake without removing the bracket that holds the wiring harness - do that. Try from under the car. I removed it and getting the bolts started to re-install that was the single most time consuming and frustrating part of the job. Would not have been so bad if I hadn't removed that. Did it before I went under the car. Seems like you can get to the bolt if you remove the connector first and leave that dang bracket in place.

Otherwise pretty straightforward job. A lot more involved for me since I had to remove the entire plenum to get to the TPS.
