Rumore.. No question. Mine is barely audible in the cabin, and sounds very sporty, almost not loud enough.. but just raspy enough to be fun.. !

Re: TUBI regular or Rumore? need advise

If you're looking for louder, you have to go Rumore. BUT, I was sitting in the back seat of my car last night while my brother was driving and the exhaust (standard Tubi) experience was SO MUCH louder from that seat than the driver's seat. Especially has a lot more low end boom to it from the rear seat, and it's definitely not hitting the crossbar (I know that thought popped into a few of your heads). I have to take a few vids this weekend...

Same experience when riding in the back seat of Andre's (MPower) 2003 M5 with Kelleners. MUCH, MUCH louder from the back seat. Sounded WONDERFUL

I have the regular tubi and it's perfect, certainly would not want go any louder. That's not what this car "is". Fine on a performance coupe, but not an M5. JMO

Yeah, I have to agree with Bill. The regular Tubi is plenty loud for my tastes. This ain't no Corvette. It starts out with you thinking, is that all there is? This is what I paid $2k for? Then after a few thousand miles, it gets louder. Right now, I think it's perfect. I can hear it, but it's never intrusive. But everyone has their own tastes. The guys on the M3 board like exhausts so loud they're like race exhausts. But a lot of people on this board don't like them that loud.

"Is it the sounds that make a BMW a BMW? A BMW is designed to be heard, felt, experienced. So our engines sing. Our steering talks back. And we insist on offering manual transmissions in nearly all our models for drivers who crave them. The result is an almost telepathic oneness with the car. Just as surely as you can hear a BMW, a BMW hears you."

Re: TUBI regular or Rumore? need advise

I concur with Need4Spd. I have had mu Tubi for 23k miles and a couple of years now and they do get louder with time and miles. Now, it is not too loud, but there is a defenative increase in music from the 4 tail pipes on hard acceleration.

At the risk of being redundant, I agree. I've had mine for about 5k miles and while they've gotten louder, they're still respectable for driving around town. Anyone notice how they sound right after a track session, when you're pitting? I'd describe it as nasty and pissed-- love it, it's like the exhaust has multiple personalities.

How about if you cruise at 180-220 km/h?

Wanna go for the Rumore, but it have to be acceptable if you are highspeedcrusing without giving your passangers a headache.

Hard choice....

Got a nice offer from Swedish Beastpower. Emailed Tubistyle in UK before
and they strongly recommended the Rumore. Even promised if i didnt like it
for whatever reason they would take it back, revert the car to standard
and give me 100 £ !.

Re: TUBI regular or Rumore? need advise

I have never herad tubi in person, But I have heard Kelleners and I loved it, so much so that I am getting it installed next week, but its all subjective on what you want, personally with so many endorsements for tubi it probably is a very good product and would consider it, But I have fallen in love with the rumble of Kelleners. But if I were to get Tubi, I would get the Rumore Version, from what I have heard on audio clips, Josh

Josh a la Renegade(well 1/2),

If you can make to our little get together Friday the 13th at 5pm here in Houston you can listen to a well broken in Tubi (a bit louder) on my car. I have a thread on it, but it will be at McCormick's at the 610 West Loop and Post Oak. The shopping Center is called Uptown Park and we will be in front at the valet area for happy hour or should I say M5 hour!

Hope to see you there.
