Euro Car Parts part number : 444779008 .
Normal price is £200 ish but 30% off would bringvit down to £140 ish. Also look at carparts4less, same company but web only and usually cheaper, but don't often have discounts - so ecp sometimes end up cheaper with their discounts.
A few of us have this one and are quite happy with it
Best price I got for a new battery was from........
...........my local BMW dealer.
110AH, 850CCA and part number 61216901817.
£112 (discounted from £125) last week.
Went through all the hoops with ECP and Halfords (£119 for a Yuasa....and the wrong physical size for our cars even though their online fitment guide says it is the correct one) and only tried my local BMW dealer out of idle interest.
There is a Yuasa battery that is the correct size (possibly referred to in one of the posts above) but Halfords don't sell it at the moment.
Edit: the battery I removed was a few weeks older than 15yrs, being fitted in the factory when the car was made back in Sept 2001. Impressive longevity!
Wow, I really didn't expect that. I always thought their batteries were in the order of £300 or so! I'm pretty sure dad paid a lot for a genuine battery for his then 'very fresh' 320.
Goes to show, it's worth asking isn't it!
